Architectural firm Steelman Partners has unveiled the design of Spa Majestic, a wellness centre that forms part of the $850m ultra-luxury resort, Majestic Las Vegas, in the US.

The 70,000ft² wellness centre features a distinct curvilinear shape, which is inspired by the historic La Concha Motel designed by architect Paul Williams.

Moreover, Spa Majestic’s concept was inspired by shapes and textures found in nature.

With its natural wood, indoor waterfall, and floor-to-ceiling greenery, the concept is expected to serve as a calming retreat for guests.

Being developed by Las Vegas developer Lorenzo Doumani’s Majestic Resorts, the Majestic Las Vegas is located over six acres directly across from the new Las Vegas Convention Center & Tesla Tunnel.

Claimed to be the first of its kind non-gaming, non-smoking resort, Majestic Las Vegas will feature a 720-suite five-star hotel, six standalone restaurants, and 270,000ft² of Corporate Sky Suites.

The Corporate Sky Suites, which will be located on levels 51 to 60, will serve as the corporate home for tech, entertainment, or sports companies.

Sky Suite owners will have access to marquee signage, a private concierge, and an exclusive Owner’s Club, in addition to preferred access to Majestic Las Vegas amenities.

Construction of the resort is planned to commence in 2022, with completion scheduled in 2024.

This four-level spa facility is expected to serve as a medical wellness destination.

It will offer body treatments and activities such as yoga and spinning, as well as amenities such as personal nutritionists and comprehensive executive physicals.

The project secured unanimous approval from the Clark County Commissioners in May 2019 and subsequent approvals in August.
