Located in the prestigious Dubai Marina overlooking the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE, the Damac Heights project features the most exclusive penthouses, duplexes and three, two and one-bedroom apartments.

Damac Heights, the second supertall skyscraper by Damac Properties, will be built by 2014.

The tower will rise to 420m (1,378ft) and have 85 floors for residential use.

Damac Heights is a premier residential complex that offers distinctive lifestyle expressions with unparalleled opportunities. The project is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, offering the highest form of luxury.

The Damac Heights project is designed by architect Aedas, who received the Bentley 2006 Best Architecture award.

Damac Heights design
“The Damac Heights project offers the highest form of luxury.”

The Damac Heights design provides maximum views of the ocean with a twist from the base on three of its faces. This gives ocean views even from the units at the back. As the tower rises, it will have smaller floor plates, which will give the building a better rotation.

After 50 storeys, two faces of the building get unobstructed view of the water in the absence of any taller surrounding buildings.

The tower breaks away from the orthogonal grid and re-orients the project towards one of Dubai’s Palm Islands to the north.

A 4m module runs through the entire area, while changing only at the facade, to give the unit layouts within a changing envelope.

Construction of Damac Heights

Damac Properties awarded the main construction contract to Arabtec in May 2010. The building will have 85 floors above the ground and five floors below. The floor area extends to 114,000m².

Damac Heights will contain over 600 luxury apartments in various sizes. The range starts from one bedroom to duplex units. It will use the latest technology in its heating, lighting and cooling systems.

The material used in the construction of the building mainframe is steel / concrete. It is concrete up to the 70th floor with steel used for the remaining 25 floors.

Luxury living

The 90-level building will have apartments, penthouses and duplexes equipped with thoughtfully planned space and utilities.

The towers offer the perfect choice of amenities such as health clubs for men and women, steam and sauna facilities, a gymnasium, swimming pools, nursery and day-care centres, barbecue area, banquet area, golf simulator and a games room.

Limitless luxury awaits the owners of the penthouses and duplex apartments, including a luxury yacht, a private cinema, a personal gymnasium, an indoor swimming pool, a jet spa and a sauna.

The Damac Heights project was awarded a special commendation for supporting excellence in architecture and construction.
