A new American football centre is being planned for the University of Arkansas in the US.

Funded solely by private donations, the proposed centre will be used by the university’s American football team, the Razorbacks, and will be constructed south of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The centre will feature new locker, team meeting, athletic training and equipment rooms, plus a student-athlete lounge and study area, coaches’ offices, a recruiting reception area and an American football museum.

Populous, Polk Stanley Wilcox and Modus Studio are working with the Razorback team and the university to develop a facility master plan, which will be submitted for approval.
