Barnet Council has approved the £4.5bn ($7.2bn) Brent Cross Crickle Wood regeneration scheme in London, England.

The project master plan has been created by Allies & Morrison, which will be delivered over a period of 20 years.

Plans include the construction of 7,500 new homes, new offices, shops, community facilities, and improvements to Brent Cross shopping centre and surrounding transport infrastructure.

The project is being developed by Hammerson, Brookfield and Standard Life Investments.

Construction on the project will begin in two to three years.
