HKS Architects is to build a 26-storey corporate headquarters for ITC in Bangalore, India.

The firm aims to achieve the US Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification for the 92,903m² tower.

The green tower will feature vegetation, which will grow vertically along the interior façade.

It also features a double-skin cladding system to insulate the building and allow natural light to enter.

The building's pyramid slope will act as a chimney, while its operable windows allow the cross-ventilation of work spaces, according to ecofriend.org.
