UK-based solution provider Science Oxford has unveiled plans to build a new £30m ($47.7m) cultural centre for science and enterprise in Oxford, England.

Foster + Partners Architects has been appointed to design the building, located on a 1,902m² site, while Ridge and Partners will serve as project managers.

The centre will include a digital planetarium, an innovation centre with office space and conference facilities, a public plaza, a cafe and a shop.

The building has secured £10m ($15.9m) of the funding required while the remaining £20m ($31.8m) will be raised from private individuals, trusts and foundations over the next two years.

The centre is set to be complete by 2015.
