Global architecture firm Woods Bagot has been selected to redesign and expand the international terminal at Perth Airport in Australia.

The contract is part of a ten-year project to expand all the airport's terminals and facilities at a cost of A$1bn (US$982m).

The redevelopment will see all domestic and international air services operating from one precinct, located at the current international terminal site.

Woods Bagot's work is due to be complete by October 2012.
