Property developers Simon and David Reuben have unveiled designs for a new skyscraper, nicknamed "the Cucumber" planned to be built in London, UK.

The 140m-high glass tower will be built on the Paddington Basin site and will be the capital's 17th-tallest building, if the plans are approved by the Westminster City Council.

The 41-storey block, officially to be named 1 Merchant Square and will include 222 flats, a 90-room boutique hotel and a public roof bar.

The development is expected to be complete in 2016, according to thisislondon.co.uk.
