The proposed $152m renovation of the Rose Bowl Stadium in California, US, has been approved by Pasadena City Council.

The project will include developing the tunnel ingress and egress, adding more restrooms and concession stands, developing concourse circulation, and the installation of new scoring and video boards.

Work on the project will begin from January next year and will be complete in 2013.

Private company Legacy Connections is to organise a fundraising campaign to collect funds for the components of the renovation project, according to seedol.com.
