A 50-storey elliptical tower that is part of the Absolute development in Ontario, Canada, is set to be topped off next year.

The mixed-use development also features a 56-storey tower designed by Toronto-based Sigmund Soudack & Associates that is currently under construction.

Canada-based Burka Architects is the architect for the entire development.

The steel and glass clad high-rise is being developed by Fernbrook Homes and Cityzen Development Group.

According to Burka Architects, the tower’s floor plans are designed to rotate as the building rises from the ground, giving the tower a playful shape that changes from every angle.
