A project to refresh the interiors of the 51-storey Georgia Pacific Center, an office tower located in Georgia, US, is scheduled to begin soon.
The 10,405m² office tower was designed by US-based architectural firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.
The block-long main lobby of the centre will be renovated with the addition of new lighting elements and wall finishes.
Tower owner GA-MET has appointed Atlanta-based interior design firm Idea Span as the architect for the project, while Humphries and Company, also of Atlanta, is the general contractor.
A new conference centre, featuring five large meeting rooms and a 250-seat auditorium, is also slated to open in January 2011.
