US University Completes New Music Wing

Construction of the new east wing of the University of Rochester in New York, US, has been completed as part of the final phase of the $46.9m Eastman School of Music project. The design for the building was one among nearly 50 drawings provided by Chaintreuil Jensen Stark Architects.<

The design for the building was one among nearly 50 drawings provided by Chaintreuil Jensen Stark Architects.

The building contains a 222-seat recital hall, a large ensemble rehearsal room, six new faculty studios and a recording control room, according to democratandchronicle.com.

The Eastman School of Music also includes the Eastman Theatre, which was completed in 2009.
