US-based sports and entertainment presenter AEG has shortlisted three architectural firms to design the new $750m Los Angeles Event Center in the US.
The shortlisted firms include HKS architects, HNTB and Gensler, which were chosen from a list of 15 practices.
The stadium will feature 72,000 fixed seats, 14,700 club seats and 40 field-level suites.
Elevated suites on the south end will be designed to be flexible and be converted into meeting rooms for the adjacent convention centre, according to sportsbusinessdaily.com.
The facility also has the flexibility to expand to accommodate 76,250 spectators for major events such as the Super Bowl, NCAA football games, FIFA World Cup finals and NCAA Final Four.
