Sisk Secures Mixed-Use Scheme in UK

Sisk has been awarded a £47.9m ($74.46m) contract for the first phase of a housing and mixed-use scheme in Newham, England.

Plot One is part of a larger £180m ($279.82m) Canning Town and Custom house regeneration scheme.

Four high-rise blocks of 21 storeys, 12 storeys, eight storeys and six storeys will feature 271 apartments, office and retail space, and parking spaces.

The 63,174m² development is expected to be complete by 2012 with further phases scheduled for completion in early 2016.

The project is being delivered by the English Cities Fund public-private partnership, a joint venture between the Homes and Communities Agency, Muse Developments and Legal & General.
