The $10m Largo Community Center in Florida, US, will be unveiled on 9 January 2011. The 2,787m² centre has been designed by Russia-based Wannemacher Jensen Architects and is able to withstand wind loads of up to 140mph, exceeding Florida Building Code standards. Clear

The 2,787m² centre has been designed by Russia-based Wannemacher Jensen Architects and is able to withstand wind loads of up to 140mph, exceeding Florida Building Code standards.

Clearwater-based Creative Contractors undertook the construction.

The centre includes about 679m² of studio space for performances, dance and art classes.

Construction began in January 2009 and was completed in November 2010, according to tbnweekly.com.
