Graham Construction has won a £25m shell and core contract to design and build a new ‘crime campus’ in the west of Scotland.
Co-designed by BMJ and gm+ad architects, the £82m campus located at Gartcosh will house the Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency, the Serious Organised Crime Agency, the Crown Office and HM Revenue and Customs.
This is the second of three phases of the project, with the first phase already completed by Sir Robert McAlpine.
Graham Construction will start work in February 2011 with completion scheduled for early 2012.
The campus is expected to open in 2013, according to theconstructionindex.co.uk.
