Korea-based SSANGYONG Engineering & Construction has won a 35bn won ($31.4m) deal to build a shopping centre in Singapore.

The mall will be built for W Singapore Sentosa Cove Hotel, which is currently under construction by SSANGYONG.

The project will be managed by City Development, a subsidiary of Singapore’s largest company, Hong Leong Group.

SSANGYONG will design and construct a two-storey luxury mall with a one-storey basement.

The centre will feature low-E glass for minimising heat conduction, solar panels and wind turbines.

Construction on the mall is slated to be complete in April next year.
