The proposed redevelopment project at the Malinslee Local Centre in Telford, England, has received planning consent from the Telford and Wrekin Council.

The £30m ($47.6m) scheme is being developed by UK-based Development Securities arm Henry Davidson Developments as part of the Ironstone project in Lawley.

The project will comprise a supermarket, play facilities and residential space.

Construction on the project is expected to begin this year.

Councillor Eric Carter, cabinet member for housing and regeneration, said: "We have been committed to a programme of regenerating both our Borough Towns and Telford's New Town Estates and this scheme is the latest that we are able to bring forward."
