Utah-based GSBS Architects has been selected to design the Southern Utah Museum of Art (SUMA) with New York-based Wendy Evans Joseph Architecture.
SUMA will be located on the campus of the Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah.
It will feature five galleries including the Jim Jones Gallery, the Braithwaite Gallery, a feature gallery, a digital gallery and one non-designated space.
The museum will also include increased classroom space for students preparing for careers in gallery and museum management.
Construction of the Southern Utah Museum of Art is slated to begin in late 2011.
