Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners has secured planning permission to build the £50m ($80.6m) Tideway Wharf project in South London, UK.

The mixed-use project will feature 752 new homes, a new hotel, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, offices and a creche.

Plans for Tideway Wharf include more than 60% open space, consisting of a riverside walk and pocket park adjacent to St Thames Street according to bdonline.co.uk.

St James Group, the developer for the project, will begin site work in April 2011, subject to mayoral approval.
