The Kingkey Finance Tower, in Shenzen, China, has been topped out, making it the eighth-tallest building in the world.

Once completed, the 100-storey, 441m tower will also be the tallest building designed by a British architect.

The tower, designed by Sir Terry Farrell, will consist of 417,000m² of office, retail, entertainment, apartment and hotel space.

It will also be home to the St Regis hotel, a sky garden and restaurants, reports the Guardian.
