The Texas State University at San Marcos has unveiled plans for its new Performing Arts Center.
It will feature a 300-seat recital hall and a 400-seat theatre along with rehearsal spaces, staging areas, classrooms and a grand lobby.
The $43m project is being financed by Higher Education Assistance Funds, gift money and Texas State University Revenue Financing System Revenue Bonds.
Plans also include construction of a 455-space car park.
US-based Morris Architects is the architect for the project while Hunt Construction is the contractor.
