Guocoland Signs Building Agreement for Singapore Development

Development firm Guocoland has signed building agreements for a mixed-use development at the white site of Tanjong Pagar, Singapore.

Guocoland's wholly owned subsidiaries Perfect Eagle, Guston and Belmeth were awarded the contract for the development in November 2010.

Plans for the development include 92,900m² of office space, a hotel, retail spaces and a high-rise residential tower.

US-based design firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill is the lead architect for the development, while Architects 61 is the local architect.

Contractors for the project include structural engineers Arup Singapore, mechanical and electrical engineers Meinhardt and Davis, and quantity surveyors Langdon and Seah.

The development is to be complete by 2016.
