US Developer Unveils Plans for Retail Project

US-based Marcus Corporation has announced plans for a retail and office space development in Connecticut, US. The project will be designed by Baltimore-based design firm Development Design Group, while Eppstein Uhen Architects will be the architect of record for the project.

The project will be designed by Baltimore-based design firm Development Design Group, while Eppstein Uhen Architects will be the architect of record for the project.

The development will be anchored by a three-storey, Von Maur department store.

The development will also house a 1,900-space car park, 23,225m² of additional retail and restaurant space along with over 9,000m² of proposed office space.

The total project cost is estimated to be between $125m and $130m.

Construction is slated to begin in mid 2011 with a completion date pencilled in for the end of 2012.
