St Modwen to Transform Car Park into Mixed-Use Development

UK-based St Modwen has announced plans to commence work on a mixed-use building in Taunton, UK, following receipt of planning committee approval. The approval will see the conversion of the Priory Bridge Road car park into over 10,400m² of office space, a hotel and 49 apartments.

UK-based St Modwen has announced plans to commence work on a mixed-use building in Taunton, UK, following receipt of planning committee approval.

The approval will see the conversion of the Priory Bridge Road car park into over 10,400m² of office space, a hotel and 49 apartments.

Work is slated to begin in mid-2011 with completion pencilled in for mid-2012.

The office building will be the first project of Project Taunton, a £270m regeneration scheme scheduled for completion in 12 years.
