German Developer to Build Mixed-Use Development in Frankfurt

European developer Strabag's German subsidiary Zublin has secured a contract for the construction of TaunusTurm, a mixed-use development in Frankfurt, Germany. The development has been designed by German architectural firm Gruber + Kleine-Kraneburg. Plans for the €200m

European developer Strabag’s German subsidiary Zublin has secured a contract for the construction of TaunusTurm, a mixed-use development in Frankfurt, Germany.

The development has been designed by German architectural firm Gruber + Kleine-Kraneburg.

Plans for the €200m development include a 170m, 40-storey office tower and a 62m, 16-storey residential building.

The buildings will be connected by a six-storey perimeter block and will be built on a 5,500m² plot.

Construction is expected to start in April 2011 with completion scheduled for the end of 2013.
