The Architectural Firm has completed work on the $35m The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center in Boston, Massachusetts, US.

The 8,300m² building houses three gyms, a pool, a football field, a learning centre, a library, an auditorium, a music room, a chapel and a recording studio.

The centre also includes a two-storey tube water slide, which weaves outside and back into the building.

The new facility has a glass, brick tile, metal panel and concrete block finish.

The light-filled interiors are designed to create the atmosphere of an indoor village and supports intuitive way-finding.
