US-based BBVA Compass has unveiled plans for the construction of an eco-efficient corporate office building in Houston, Texas, US.
The new building will have an area of 35,000m², of which BBVA will occupy 13,900m², while the remaining space will be leased out.
Houston-based Redstone Real Estate is the developer for the project, which will be managed by Manhattan Construction.
The new facility will be built to meet the standards required for LEED Gold certification.
Construction is expected to begin in May 2011 with completion and occupancy scheduled for early 2013.
