US-based Spillman Farmer Architects has completed work on the $26.6m performing arts centre at SteelStacks, an entertainment complex located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, US.

The 6,200m² arts centre building houses a 450-seat venue for live performances in the Musikfest Cafe in addition to a two-screen cinema, restaurants, a loft and a multipurpose room.

The building has a glass and concrete exterior and is clad with locally manufactured pre-cast concrete panels.

The arts centre is the first building in a planned $72m arts and cultural campus that will contain an outdoor stage, plazas, town square, visitors centre and local broadcast station.
