UK-based urban regeneration firm Menta has submitted a planning application to the London Borough of Croydon for the redevelopment of the Cherry Orchard Road site.

The mixed-use redevelopment scheme has been designed by London-based architects Make.

Plans include two residential buildings including a 53-storey tower, a four-star boutique hotel with 22 serviced apartments and 6,600m² of office space.

The new plans were submitted following public consultation after the withdrawal of a previous application in 2009.

The planning application is expected to be considered in July 2011.
