UK Developer Submits Regeneration Master Plan

UK-based developer Bouygues Development, along with One Housing Group, has submitted an outline planning application for the master plan of the Canning Town regeneration project in London, UK. The master plan has been submitted to the Thames Gateway Development Corporation.

The master plan has been submitted to the Thames Gateway Development Corporation.

The plans for the regeneration have been drawn by Aecom and Haworth Tompkins Architects.

The first phase of the regeneration includes 179 private and affordable homes in addition to a Morrisons supermarket. The regeneration will eventually add a total of 1,130 new homes.

The regeneration plans also include offices, hotels and student accommodation facilities.

Bouygues expects to begin work on the project in early 2012.
