The city of Paris has opened the First Tower, a 231m skyscraper that is the tallest in France.
The First Tower is a result of the stripping down and reconstruction of the Axa block in Paris’ La Defense business quarter.
The building features 80,000m² of office space spread over 52 floors.
The construction cost of the tower is estimated at €300m.
The tower weighs 21,000t, twice as heavy as the Eiffel Tower, the tallest building in Paris with a height of 324m.
