Global power solutions firm Delta India Electronics has unveiled its new green office building in Gurgaon, India.
The design of the new building incorporates energy-efficient architecture, eco-friendly building materials and building management systems.
The new facility will consume 35% less energy and 40% less water than a conventional building owing to a number of sustainable features included in the design.
Several green materials, including autoclaved aerated blocks, fly ash in concrete aggregate mix, gypsum, Bagasse wood, recycled aluminium, double laminated glass with insulation, low-E glass and zero-VOC paints and adhesives, have been used in the building.
Delta India has applied for a LEED Platinum certification for the facility from the Indian Green Building Council.
