Plans have been unveiled for a new facility to house the Manchester Cancer Research Centre (MCRC) in Withington, Manchester, UK. The new facility, designed by UK-based Wilson Mason and Partners, is currently undergoing preplanning submission and public consultation reviews.

The base plan of the new centre is aimed at promoting interaction between research teams.
The ground floor of the new building houses a bistro and a lecture theatre.
The laboratory spaces of the new facility will be housed in two pavilions, each three storeys tall.
The new facility will include space for 150 cancer researchers, laboratory accommodation for research groups and administration and office space for the relocated clinical trials unit.
