UK Developer Submits Plans for Mixed-Use Development

UK-based developer Muse has submitted an outline planning application for Union Square, a mixed-use development in Swindon, UK.

The plans for the scheme have been drawn up by Robin Partington Architects.

The mixed-use proposal is for the development of 450 homes, 55,700m€ of office space, a new headquarters building for the local NHS primary care trust, a 100-bed hotel and 13,500m€ of retail, cafe and restaurant space.

The development will also provide improved transport infrastructure including a new bus station and car park.

The master plan for the site is supported by the South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) and the Homes and Communities Agency.
