UK Builder Secures £80m Regeneration Contract

Essex-based builder Mulalley has secured a contract for an £80m regeneration programme at the Ladderswood Estate in London, UK.

Mulalley will execute the regeneration scheme in partnership with the One Housing Group.

The scheme will see the construction of 490 new homes, a community centre and nearly 3,000m² of retail space.

Mulalley and One Housing are expected to submit a planning application for the first phase, which will include the development of the site of the Sir John Lawrence pub.

Construction is expected to commence in early 2012 with completion scheduled for 2014.
