Mortenson Construction has topped out the 12-storey office tower of the Ralph L Carr Colorado Judicial Center in Denver, Colorado, US.

The building has been designed by Fentress Architects while Trammell Crow Company is the program manager for the project.

A four-storey courthouse building is also being built adjacent to the new office tower.

The centre will accommodate seven judicial and legal agencies from ten different locations in Colorado.

The project is being built using building information modelling (BIM) technology.

The building will incorporate several sustainable elements and is expected to achieve LEED Gold certification from the US Green Building Council.

The project is scheduled for completion in January 2013.
