US City to Build $15m Mixed-Use Garage

Indianapolis mayor Greg Ballard has unveiled plans for the construction of a $15m mixed-use garage in Broad Ripple Village, Indianapolis, Indiana, US. The car park will contain 350 parking spaces at ground level while the first floor will house retail space and a police substation.

The car park will contain 350 parking spaces at ground level while the first floor will house retail space and a police substation.

The project will be developed by a partnership of Newpoint Parking, Keystone Construction, Ratio Architects and Walker Parking Consultants.

The City of Indianapolis will provide $6.35m from the upfront payment in parking meter proceeds to kickstart the project.
