The Lerner Theater in Elkhart, Indiana, US, has completed an $18m renovation of its existing facilities.
The project included refurbishment of the internal facilities of the theatre along with the construction of a new ballroom, a grand staircase and new bathrooms.
The theatre’s stage was extended by 8ft, with an option to lower or raise the extension as needed.
The seating in the theatre was reduced from 2,000 to 1,700 to make room for stage extensions and other new equipment.
The ballroom can be divided into three different rooms to host different events.
The renovated theatre opened on 16 June 2011.
