The University of Missouri System has announced plans for the construction of a new building at the Discovery Ridge Research Park in Columbia, Missouri, US.

The new building will be developed in co-ordination with CarrBaierCrandall Real Estate Group and CB Richard Ellis.

The 7,500m² facility will provide space for firms dealing in medicine, veterinary care, engineering and bioscience research.

The university plans to build two more buildings with the same dimensions once the leasing of the current building is completed.

Construction of the new building is expected to begin in early 2012.
