The 18,600m² building will house the Winnipeg headquarters of Stantec, a professional consulting firm, and an ALT Hotel.

Stantec, which will be the anchor tenant, will provide architecture and engineering services to design the mixed-use tower.

The ground floor will house retail and restaurant space, floors two to six will house office space, half of which will be occupied by Stantec and the upper 12 floors will be taken up by the ALT Hotel.

The building is scheduled to open in 2013.
