Vinci Secures £90m Tesco Streatham Contract

Construction company Vinci has secured a £90m mixed-use construction contract in Streatham, from Tesco subsidiary Spenhill Regeneration and the London Borough of Lambeth.

The scheme includes a new 5,850m² supermarket, affordable housing, a multistorey car park, a bus interchange, and a leisure centre with a swimming pool, fitness suite and ice rink.

The construction is due to start this summer, with completion set for November 2014.

Tesco is also planning village developments in Dartford, Woolwich and Bromley-by-Bow (East London).
