Demjan Group Begins Work on Cultural Centre in Russia

Hungary-based Demjan Group has started work on an 80,000m² multifunctional cultural centre in St Petersburg, Russia.

The €200m centre, designed by Hungarian architects Zoboki-Demeter & Associates Architects, will feature a 1,600-seat concert hall, an exhibition centre, as well as a 2,500-seat conference and event centre.

Demjan Group and its Russian partner Invest-Story secured the tender to build the project on a public-private partnership basis.

The scheme is expected to complete within 24 months.
