ExxonMobil Corporation has unveiled plans to construct a new office building in Beaumont, Texas, US.

Harvey Builders will be the general contractor for the project while PageSoutherlandPage will serve as architect and engineer.

The three-storey structure, which will be approximately 140,000ft², will be near the main entrance gate of the refinery at the company’s Beaumont manufacturing complex.

ExxonMobil plans to house 500 employees from different locations in the new complex.

The new facility, which has been designed to withstand a category 3 hurricane, is scheduled for completion in late 2012.
