Croydon Council in the UK has granted planning permission to Menta for its £250m Cherry Orchard Road project, which includes a 55-storey residential tower.

The mixed-use scheme, adjacent to East Croydon railway station, will provide a total of 424 flats as well as a 165-bed four-star hotel, 6,600m² of office space and a restaurant.

The new development will be spread across three separate sites adjacent to East Croydon railway station.

The development has been designed to integrate with a new station entrance and is expected to be completed in 2014.
