London-based office investor CLS Holdings intends to submit a plan to develop a £46m mixed-use building in Spring Mews, on the site it has assembled adjacent to Spring Gardens in Vauxhall, London, UK.

The 18,100m² Spring Mews scheme will consist of 408 beds of student housing together with a 120-bed budget hotel, a 325m² retail unit, 520m² of business units and a replacement 560m² community centre.

The development will be on a separate site half a mile from the proposed Vauxhall Square development, for which the group announced its plans in February 2011 and on which the group expects to submit an application towards the end of this year.

Construction on the development is expected to start in the second half of 2012 following planning permission.
