Costain-Skanska JV to Build Paddington Station in London

Joint venture (JV) partners Costain and Skanska have secured a £150m contract to build the Crossrail Paddington Station in London. The new Crossrail station in Paddington will be designed to maximise the station's space while preserving the historic features of the main line station.

Joint venture (JV) partners Costain and Skanska have secured a £150m contract to build the Crossrail Paddington Station in London.

The new Crossrail station in Paddington will be designed to maximise the station’s space while preserving the historic features of the main line station.

The new station will comprise of an underground box 260m long, 35m wide and 23m deep located directly under Departures Road and Eastbourne Terrace.

The Crossrail Paddington Station will be a key interchange for the existing Network Rail services at the Paddington mainline station and London underground.
