Fairmount Properties Breaks Ground for Mixed-Use Development in US

US-based Fairmount Properties and its partners have broken ground on a $27m mixed-use development in downtown Kent, Ohio, US.

The 185,000ft² development, which forms part of Kent’s $100m downtown regeneration plan, will comprise office, retail and restaurant space.

Fairmount is developing the project in a joint venture with Premier Development Partners and Bud Kent.

The other components of the development include a transit centre and a conference centre constructed by Columbus-based Pizzuti and Kent State University.
