Saudi Arabia Begins Third Jeddah Industrial City Development

Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) has signed a SAR250m ($73.8m) contract to develop a third industrial city near Dammam.

The city will be spread across 20 million square metres on Al-Leeth road, 35km from Jeddah 1st, and 3km from Jeddah 2nd industrial city.

The scope of the work in the project includes roads, sidewalks network, lighting and electricity networks, floods networks and service lanes.

Large plots have been allocated for residential, commercial and logistical projects while the city will also include areas for the petroleum, metal and plastic and food industries, vehicles, building materials and other projects.

The project has been designed to international standards and is expected to be complete in two years.
