BAM Construct Seeks Subcontractors for Derby Office Building

BAM Construct is looking for a partner to start building a £35m BREEAM excellent-rated new council office in Derby, East Midlands, England. The existing building has been demolished to make way for the new office as the old building required £14m to complete its required maintenance.

Architects Corstorphine + Wright are working with BAM to harness hydroelectric power from the River Derwent, according to constructionenquirer.com.

The new council building will be more energy efficient and will see the building’s capacity rise from 500 to 1,900 people.
